By accessing or using velabeautyco.com (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to timecontinued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Pre-Order & Shade Reservations
Vela Beauty products are not yet available for purchase. Placing your shade in the cart and submitting a reservation is an expression of interest only. It is not a binding purchase contract and no payment is collected. Specifically:
- Reservations do not guarantee product availability at launch.
- Final pricing may differ from the estimated $42 launch price shown on the site.
- We will contact you by email when your reserved shade becomes available for purchase.
- You may cancel your reservation at any time by emailing nicole@velabeautyco.com.
3. AI Shade Match Tool
The Shade Match feature uses artificial intelligence to estimate your skin undertone from a photo. Please be aware:
- Results are estimates only and may not perfectly reflect your undertone in all lighting conditions.
- AI analysis is not a substitute for professional makeup consultation.
- We are not liable for purchasing decisions made based solely on AI recommendations.
- By uploading a photo, you confirm you have the right to use and share that image.
- If you opt in to training data storage, your photo may be used to improve our AI model. You may withdraw consent at any timesee our Privacy Policy.
4. Affiliate Links & Product Recommendations
Some product links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, Vela Beauty may earn a commissionat no additional cost to you. We only recommend products that our founder has personally tested and believes are suitable for olive and other undertones. Affiliate compensation does not influence our recommendations.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Siteincluding text, images, brand names, shade names, “Pigment-Logic™,” “The Diagnosis,” “Vela Verified,” and all other brand assetsis owned by or licensed to Vela Beauty and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. AI shade recommendations are provided as a helpful guide only and carry no guarantee of accuracy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vela Beauty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to purchasing decisions based on AI shade recommendations or affiliate product links.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
